Bob was a firm believer in higher education. He was very proud the day his granddaughter graduated from Virginia Tech.
Bob loved hiking, bird watching, and his daughter-in-law.
Here's Bob dancing with Julie Angel. He's a sweetie who'll be missed by all the gals.
Hi Bob, I am so sorry I didn't get up to the hospital to see you. I had pneumonia and then had family obligations (birth of a new grandbaby). You were such a joy to dance with and I loved playing you hard in tennis. Great sense of humor and you would crack me up. I didn't realize you were in the Korean War, so was my dad, and he talked about it often in the end. He passed in June, age 89, you may have known each other... Love to you Bob, thanks for all the wonderful dances. Rest in peace my friend, we are in for some wild times.
Bob was a kind and gentle soul, always willing to share a dance with any of the women in our Zydeco community.
Good Zydeco friend Vivian is also with the angels.
