From the day Gary and I first met her, we knew Doris would be a wonderful neighbor and soon friend. Gary, Jenny and Chip and I (and, yes, even our pup, Bark!) were all such fans of hers, enjoying her fun-loving spirit and friendly way. Our too infrequent visits, be it in person or by phone, were always chock full of stories ~ she loved sharing them and Ill forever miss her storytelling. She would quite often back up those stories with a picture or two in tow of a loved one or an acquaintance that she and Gary both knew from back in the day. She was so very proud of her family and had a way of making you feel like one of them. I will always feel that dear little ladys absence but she holds a special place in my heart.
